Definition - (Aka lemma | dictionary form | citation form)

Another name for a lemma, the member of the lexeme (i.e. a set of words that have the same base form) that is chosen by convention to represent the whole set as, say, the headword in a dictionary.

For example, run, runs, ran and running are all forms of the same lexeme; run is the lemma.
