Definition - The collective name for the set of adverbs that answer the questions How?, When?, and Where? with respect to the verb.

Example -
Now, I want you to gently put the dog there.

In the above:
(1) now is a time adverb that answers the question When?,
(2) gently is a manner adverb that answers the question How?, and
(3) there is a place adverb that answers the question Where?
