Definition: A two-or-more word adjectival phrase.
Example:

(2) far-fetched story
Usage:
1. Hyphenate them to reduce ambiguity

2. Don't hyphenate if the modifiers follow the modified noun.

3. Don't use a hyphen after the word very .
