Definition - A figure of speech by which a sentence is repeated in reverse order.

Notes:
1. The term also denotes a return to the regular thread of discourse after a digression.

Example -
I like you. You like I.

Etymology -
The word derives from the Greek epana, upon again + hodos, way.

Its first and only citation is from 1589:
