Definition - A person who makes dictionaries.

Example -
Some noteworthy dictionary makers are: Samuel Johnson, Noah Webster, and James Murray.

Etymology -
The word ultimately derives from the Greek lexikographos (from lexikon, wordbook + graphos, writer).

Oxford English Dictionary -
Its first citation is from 1658: "Calepine and other Lexicographers of his gang."
