matronym
Definition -
(1) A name of someone's mother.
(2) A name derived from either: (a) your mother's name or (b) one of your maternal ancestors' names.

Notes:
1. The practice of using matronyms is called metronymy.

Example -
The Icelandic name Ingridsdottir (Ingrid's daughter)

Etymology -
The word derives from the Greek mater, mother + onoma, name.
