performance mistake
Definition - Chomskyan terminology denoting speech or writing errors that result from problems — such as tiredness or nervousness — that affect your physical ability to use a language that under normal circumstance you would speak or write quite well.

Notes:
1. As oppose to competence mistakes, which result from ignorance of the language or an inability to use it properly.

Etymology -
The term was coined by Noam Chomsky and popularized in his book Aspects of the Theory of Syntax (1965)
