Definition - A pronoun that shows ownership or possession.

1. Modern English's seven possessive pronouns are mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, and theirs.
2. Adjectives that shows possession — such as my, our, and their — are called possessive adjectives.

This Bud is mine.
