rhotacism
Definition - Excessive or peculiar use of the /r/ sound.

Example -
"Be vewwy quiet, Walph… I'm hunting wabbits". (Elmer Fudd)

Etymology -
The term derives from the Modern Latin rhotacismus, which in turn derives from the Greek rho, the letter /r/ (which is ultimately from the Phoenician roth).

Oxford English Dictionary -
Its first citation is from 1834:
"Young Daniel was free from all the isms in Lily,
and from rhotacism to boot."
