The prose and speech style used by people in high-technology, especially computing.
1. It is usually packed with numbers and abbreviations.
2. It is similar to technobabble, except that the speaker is using words and concepts which he probably understands.
Example - The 1 GB (2 x 512 MB) requires the removal of the installed 128 MB DIMM.

Etymology - According to the Oxford Companion to the English Language, the word was coined by combining the words technology and newspeak.
