technospeak
Definition - The prose and speech style used by people in high-technology, especially computing.

Notes:
1. It is usually packed with numbers and abbreviations.
2. It is similar to technobabble, except that the speaker is using words and concepts which he probably understands.

Example -
The 1 GB (2 x 512 MB) requires the removal of the installed 128 MB DIMM.

Etymology -
According to the Oxford Companion to the English Language, the word was coined by combining the words technology and newspeak.
